(August 2016)
1. Our company
We are committed to our responsibility for the state and society. This includes paying our taxes and levies locally. In addition, we do our utmost to support charitable projects and institutions in the region. The laws, norms and regulations that affect us are the basis of our daily actions.
Our contribution to improving the quality of life is excellent, safe products and services optimized for the needs of our customers in a market-compliant price-performance ratio.
2. Our Social Responsibility
Julius Schulte sees itself as a traditional, down-to-earth family business with a high level of social responsibility for its employees and their families. That is why job security is a high priority in our business decisions. We think in long-term periods, our strategic orientation is deliberately conservative. In order not to jeopardize our organic, healthy growth, we refrain from taking risky action.
3. Our employees
The employees are the heart of our company. Therefore, the relationships between the employees and the owner family as well as the management are particularly close and trusting. Their inventiveness, their personal commitment and their skills are the cornerstones of our success. A large part of our employees have been employed by us for many years – their skills, experience and loyalty are invaluable. We strive to be trusting with each individual. This also includes ensuring international labour standards (ILO - 1998) throughout the company: clearly regulated working hours, fair pay above the statutory minimum wage. Equal opportunities between men and women, protection of health and safety at work, strict adherence to labour standards, no discrimination (e.B. against foreign employees and their ethnic and religious characteristics), promotion of education and training. With a variety of measures, we promote – and demand – a lifelong willingness to continue training.
4. Our dealings with each other / Internal communication
Our interaction with each other is characterized by mutual recognition, appreciation, openness and tolerance. In particular, employees who have management responsibilities are aware of their role model function
and actively assume their social responsibility.
We have flat hierarchies and maintain an open, cooperative and constructive coexistence across all levels. We consistently adhere to the internal communication channels. We express criticism openly, constructively and never infringing or discriminatory.
Within the scope of the tasks agreed with us, we make the decisions that are relevant in this regard ourselves. Responsibility is taken for the decisions taken.
The company is concerned about the needs of each individual employee. For this, we expect above-average performance and a high level of loyalty.
5. Our customers and consumers
Our customers and their satisfaction are at the heart of our thinking and acting.
